The centre of Professional Growth,KEA, was recommended as private organism in the beginnings 1994 in Rethimno Crete with objectives his contribution in the local growth via the adaptation of various teams of workforce in the transformations technological, economic-social and labour environment, the improvement of existing dexterities and the incorporation of young persons, the exchange of experience and know-how in national and inter-country level and the promotion of local growth.

His main field of activities is the planning and concretisation of programs of growth of human potential that incorporates innovation and European dimension, is based on dynamic collaborations and seeks synergy and quality in the results. Thus his sectors of activation KEA is:

  • The concretisation of programs of training.
  • The development of researches and studies on issues growth and adaptation of human potential in the needs of job market (analysis of needs of dexterities, research of job market, etc.)
  • The planning and growth of inter-country European programs with regard to the local growth, employment and social cohesion.
In the frames of national planning for continuing professional training the KEA has been certified by the National Centre of Certification of Continuing Training ([EKEPIS]) realises programs of training in the following sectors:

Still KEA is:

  • Certified Examining centre “CAMBRIDGE”, certification of knowledge of information technology.
  • Certified Centre of Support of Training ([KSE]) Teachers in the exploitation of ICT in the education, from the Ministry of Education
  • Approved Centre of Training of Employers for subjects of Exercise of Duties of Technician of Safety, from the Ministry of Education
