As part of ERASMUS+ project : "Better start - European apprenticeships", project number: 2018-1-PL01-KA102-047972 12, teachers of Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych in Rzeszów (ZSE) participated in the Job Shadowing activities at the Center for Vocational Training Stiftelsen Utbildning Nordkalotten -12 in Övertorneå in Sweden. The foreign internship was directed at teachers and ZSE managers. They were interested in raising their professional competences. They participated in activities of international cooperation of the school and raised their professional competences in the European dimension.
The goals of the foreign internship of teachers and management staff in Sweden were:
- raising the professional and linguistic competences of the ZSE pedagogical staff
- getting known the vocational education system in Sweden
- learning methods of organization and methods of conducting training abroad
- gaining experience in conducting and observing teaching activities abroad
- getting known vocational training programs (content, techniques, methods, didactic resources) and didactic and training base in a renowned vocational training center in Sweden
- improving the quality of the education system and better adapting it to the requirements of the European labor market
- strengthening cooperation between ZSE and UTB NORD
Place and duration of the internship:
Professional teacher training took place at the Scandinavian Center for Vocational Training Stiftelsen Utbildning Nordkalotten – UTB Nord in Övertornea in Sweden (Utbildning Nord, Box 42, 957 21 Övertorneå, Sweden) Duration: Monday 11.02.2019 till Friday 15.02.2019
